RACHELLE GARNIEZ

Singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Rachelle Garniez is known as "a master of surprise" (Entertainment Weekly ) and as "a certified free spirit...with a wild imagination" (The New Yorker). She has released several CDs of original songs and performs regularly in a wide variety of situations.

Rachelle is a member of the cabaret troupe The Citizens Band, and has performed/recorded with Weimar New York, Dan Zanes, Hazmat Modine and choreographer Keely Garfield, among others. As a regular on CCi's Serial Underground, she brings her singular avant-pop vocal and accordion stylings to the Cornelia Street Cafe stage.
