CHRISTINA SPRINGER
Christina
Springer is a text artist incorporating poetry, theatre, dance, music
and visual expressions in her work. She has performed in the US and abroad
at such venues as Lincoln Center, The Chicago Guild Complex, Harrison
Museum of African American Culture, and Norwich School of the Arts in
England. Her poetry has appeared in Callaloo, Femspec, Fireweed and several
anthologies. She wrote and performed the narration for Curtis Reaves
documentary, Talladega. Her debut CD
of performance poetry, in the image
of angels is distributed by poetryslam.com. As Administrative Director
of Sun Crumbs, a trans-cultural, multi-arts non-profit, she produces
over 46 programs a year in Pittsburgh. Meet performance poet/slam champion Christina Springer & composer
