EDWIN TORRES
Edwin
Torres is a poet from New York City who creates performances that mingle
poetry with vocal & physical improvisation, sound and visual theater
... expanding the limits of the lingualisualist. He has received poetry
fellowships from The New York Foundation for the Arts and The Foundation
for Contemporary Performance Art, among others. Edwin is widely anthologized
and has performed and given workshops across the United States and around
the world. He has collaborated with a variety of artists in his mere
lifetime as a poet and performed in many NYC venues from holes-in-the-walls
to Lincoln Center. He is co-editor of the journal Rattapallax and his
collections include; the CD-Rom Please [Faux Press], The All-Union Day
Of The Shock Worker [Roof Books], Fractured Humorous [Subpress], and
the CD Holy Kid [Kill Rock Stars Records].
