Virginia Valdes is a multimedia artist whose works have been shown both nationally and internationally in festivals and museums such as Digital Visions 2002 at the Sacramento Arts Center, P.S.1/MOMA and Lincoln Center where "Just Another Day Without You" was part of the 2002 New York Video Festival. Recent screenings have also included L.A. Freewaves and V.I.D. at Dampfzentrale in Bern, Switzerland. At present she is collaborating with electronic musician Laurent Brondel (www.laurentbrondel.com) on an upcoming piece titled "Everywhere Starts to Feel Like Nowhere" and with choreographer Joshua Bisset on a dance and video performance in New York this coming March 2003. Ms. Valdes lives and works in Long Island City, NY as a video artist, photographer and designer.
For Solo Flights/Keyboard Summit , Virginia Valdes collaborated with director Arnold Barkus, lighting designer David Lovett and the performers centerstage on a piano theater event.
